The Arts and Media Management Club (AMMC) hosted several events including social gatherings, alumni mixers, and site visits. The events were aimed to give students a hands-on look into the arts and media landscape of Ontario.

Arts & Media Industry Overview, Meet & Greet - Oct 5, 2023
Towards the beginning of Fall 2023, AMMC hosted an Arts & Media Industry overview event for new club members. The event was aimed to give the new members a closer look into the arts and media industry in Canada. The attendees were also provided resources to assist them in navigating recruitment processes.
Industry Panel & Alumni Mixer - Nov 9, 2023
AMMC hosted a panel discussion on the film and television industry with experts like Lawrie Schneider, Jonas Prupas, and Kristian Roberts. The panel discussion was followed by an alumni mixer providing the attendees an opportunity to connect and network with AM&E alumni.
ROM After Dark with AMMC - Nov 24, 2023
AMMC’s first outing took attendees on an experiential after-hours tour of the Royal Ontario Museum. Hosted once a month, ROM After Dark features curated music, visual arts, pop-up performances, and distinctive food and drink and allows visitors to experience the museum in a whole different way.

AMMC X WorkInCulture: Table Mentoring - Mar 14, 2024
In partnership with WorkInCulture, AMMC hosted a table mentoring session allowing students to seek expert advice on career development. The attendees were mentored by Diane Davy, Margaret McGuffin, Bridget Macintosh, Mike Rudolph, and Simeon Taole. Each of the mentors brought in unique perspectives from their extensive experience in the arts and media sector.
AMMC X Cinespace Studios Tour - Mar 22, 2024
The Arts and Media Management Club organized an exclusive tour of Cinespace Studios. Located in Kipling, Cinespace Studios is the largest production hub in Toronto and is home to the content and film production community, award-winning films, and Netflix productions. Students had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of media production and gain knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a production facility. The guided tour gave the students exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Cinespace’s production facility and hands-on exposure to media production.
